Over 5.5 million patients in the United States have cardiovascular disease

Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) are an alternative to the traditional heart implant
LVADs are prone to infection, by making them wireless, CircuiTech will aid in reducing LVAD infections
and increase patient quality of life.

Our Mission

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for patients with end-stage heart failure. By implementing a wireless power transfer system made to drive left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), our model will be safer and more efficient than the LVADs used today.

Our Product

The most common issue of LVADs today is infection around the driveline site. CircuiTech is proposing a comfortable and lightweight wireless power system capable of providing adequate power to drive an artificial heart; ridding the need of extra cable connections between the batteries and controller to support a healthier and more seamless post surgery transition.
