Wireless Power Transfer for Implantable Medical Devices

To ensure the patient's safety, the product includes:

  • Display Screen - Shows much battery is left before a recharge is necessary.

  • External and Internal Battery - In conjunction, the patient can stay charged throughout the day and will need to replace the internal battery after 10 years of use.

  • Safety Features - Magnets are integrated to align the two inductors coils; ensuring maximum power transfer. A lead connects the receiver to an internal battery which directly drives the LVAD.

  • Adjustable Armband - Worn by the patient so electromagnetic waves will be transmitted from the transmitting coil inside the band to the receiving coil located under the skin.

  • Compatibility - Our wireless power transfer system will be compatible with current state of the art LVADs.
